Nikau is a 12 week old mixed breed boy with the most gentle and sweet soul

Nikau’s personality:
Nikau loves to wrestle with his sister, but most often prefers a cuddle. He is such a sweet gentle soul and even when Karakia tries to start a fight, he is always nice to her! This beautiful boy will melt your heart with his beautiful puppy dog eyes.

Nikau’s ideal forever home:
Nikau would be best adopted with his sister Karakia in a home with either an elderly dog, or no other dogs. They both have a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, causing them to be a bit wobbly on their feet. He doesn’t let this stop him from running round and playing his toys though! He is otherwise a happy and healthy young pup who will have special needs for his entire life and will require a home that can support this. He has adapted very well to his condition and since being in care, has learnt to overcome many obstacles!

Nikau’s story:
Nikau is part of a litter of 8 pups that were found being dumped at the local pound. They came straight to us at the Rescue for lots of love and care. We are unsure of their exact breed and anticipate that they will grow to be medium-large sized dogs.
