Karakia - RIP xx

Karakia is a happy, playful, almost 6 month old mixed breed girl.

Karakia’s personality:
Karakia is a very playful, happy young lady! She loves to chase her toys around - and also wrestle with her sister! Sometimes Manuka’s velcro harness will myseriously fall off - of course Karakia knows nothing about that! She has a heart of gold and loves a snuggle. Karakia also loves to go on walks and find as many smells as possible. She loves exploring and checking out the world.

Karakia’s ideal forever home:
Karakia would be best adopted into a home with either an elderly dog, or no other dogs. Karakia has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, causing her to be a bit wobbly on her feet. This is a lifelong condition but it will not worsen over time. She doesn’t let this stop her from running round and playing though! She is otherwise a happy and healthy young pup who will have special needs for her entire life and will require a home that can support this. She has adapted very well to her condition and since being in care, has learnt to overcome many obstacles.

Karakia’s medical history:
Karakia has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, causing her to be wobbly on her feet. She lives a normal life as any other puppy would and loves to play, wrestle and go for walks. Her balance isn't as good as it would otherwise be, but she gets along just fine and is a happy and otherwise, healthy young pup.
Karakia is desexed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and receives regular flea, tick and worming preventions.

Karakia’s story:
Karakia is part of a litter of 8 pups that were found being dumped at the local pound. They came straight to us at the Rescue for lots of love and care. We are unsure of their exact breed and anticipate that Karakia will grow to be a medium-large sized dog. She has been with us at Sweet Pea since June and has blossomed into such a beautiful young lady. We can’t wait for her perfect family to come along!

Karakia’s adoption fee is $450 which contributes towards providing her care to date.
