Princess Bella’s personality:
Princess Bella is a small, very cute, affectionate, soft bundle of fluff. She is very quiet, gentle and loves to sit on your lap or a comfy chair and have a cuddle, but is also happy lying in the sun outdoors. She loves company but can be a little wary of strangers, particularly men. She loves other dogs as long as they are not too boisterous. She walks (actually more like a strutting royal trotter) well on the lead and really enjoys her two walks a day.

Princess Bella’s ideal forever home:
Princess Bella would be an ideal companion to a quiet woman or couple that is home most of the time to give her the love and pampering she deserves. Being a small quiet dog a large yard is not necessary - a small sunny and shaded areas would be ideal and she would love her two walks a day. Although she tolerates small children, a home with little ones would not be good for her

Princess Bella’s story:
Princess Bella was abandoned by her original owners and taken in by a young family. Her new home had three large dogs and a number of small children, and poor little Bella just didn’t fit in. She was stressed and overwhelmed by the level of activity.

Princess Bella’s medical history:
We don’t know anything of Bella’s prior medical history, but whilst in our care she has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for parasites and undergone a dental, where her teeth were cleaned and polished and she had a few extractions. We estimate Bella to be around 7-8 years of age.

More about Princess Bella:
Bella is a very lady-like doggy - she likes to keep herself clean and is fully house trained ( though she does like a comfy chair). However, she is not used to basic commands such as sit and stay, but is so well behaved that she can easily get away with not knowing them!

In general Bella has a quiet and happy disposition, but can be nervous of noises - particularly loud noises and blustery winds. She is finds it a little confronting when people walk straight up to her and bend down to pat her. She likes a little bit of time to come around and will then, happily say hello.

Bella is not a fussy eater, but raw meat tends to upset her tummy. On her first day in her foster home, she had a bath and a blow dry, and didn’t object to either!!

Bella has been in the care of a lovely foster home, since being surrendered to us. Her foster mum and dad, June and John, have provided her with a safe sanctuary to settle into following an unstable period in her life. She as been spoilt and loved, as she should be but is now ready and waiting for her very own forever home.

Princess Bella’s adoption fee is $400. If this precious little girl is the one for you then please complete her Adoption Questionnaire and hit submit! One of our wonderful volunteers will be back in touch with you as soon as possible,
