Miss Beatrix’s personality:
Miss Bea Buns is a very affectionate and playful girl. She loves cuddles and an ear scratch. She gets along well with cats and small dogs (of course, the one’s that don’t want to pick on her) – and she loves to play with them and have a snuggle. She has never bitten or shown any signs of aggression or being fearful.

Miss Beatrix’s ideal forever home:
Bea Buns would suit a single or multi-person household, with fur babies who will be gentle and kind to her. She will need a family who are willing to give her plenty of attention and care. Preferably a home where she will have access to a safe grass area, as she loves being able to play in long grass or a garden making little tunnels and hidey holes. Of course, her main diet consists of grass, Lucerne and fresh leafy greens, but she also loves some juicy fruit, as the occasional snack and treat.

Miss Beatrix’s story:
This little miss was brought into our care in May, having been found wandering around the streets and back yards of Forster. We are told the poor little mite had already been on the loose for some months prior to being brought to us. .We have been unable to locate her owners, but we are very grateful that she has been in the care of one of our wonderful vet nurses who has been fostering her and spoiling her rotten during this time

Miss Beatrix’s medical history:
This gorgeous little lady has been vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms and mites, and desexed while in our care. She is a very healthy rabbit with a clean, soft coat.

More about Miss Beatrix:
Miss Bea has the most beautiful soft coat and she loves to have her head and ears stroked.

She is comfortable with a harness on and loves going for a hop in the backyard. She is fully litter trained so you don’t have the stress of the mess. Although she may take some time to adjust to a new home and some temporary restrictions should be placed on where she can and can’t go in the early stages of her transition.

Obviously, Bea Bun is NOT a cat, so please ignore the question regarding keeping her indoors only. She can be outside on her harness and with supervision OR in an appropriately sized hutch. Miss Beatrix’s adoption fee is $150 - she is fully vaccinated, desexed and treated for fleas, mites and intestinal worms.
