Duke - Adopted!
Duke is a handsome, 1 year old Siberian Husky X. He is playful, affectionate and loves humans and doggies alike!
Duke’s personality:
Duke is a very sweet and affectionate 1 year old Husky X. This happy-go-lucky boy is extremely intelligent, learning new things very quickly. Curious and adventurous, this beautiful boy simply loves to play and run! Being the sociable young man that he is, Duke makes friends with every doggy he meets and is very polite in bowing down to initiate play! He is the complete all-rounder and absolutely loves time spent with his human companions.
Duke’s ideal forever home:
Duke’s ideal forever home is one where he will be included in everyday family activities. He has an adventurous spirit and loves nothing more than to be involved in whatever fun things you are doing! Duke will need a secure, fenced yard with lots of space to run around in and enjoy. He will require ongoing training to solidify the clever things he already knows and to help him be the best doggy he can possibly be. A canine friend to play and spend time with would also be highly appreciated by Duke! He would suit a home with children who can spend lots of time doting on him and perhaps even cuddle up to at night!
Duke’s story:
Unfortunately, Duke was a frequent flyer as a stray, regularly ending up at local vet clinics in town or being picked up by concerned members of the public. All he wanted was the company that he so truly deserves. Eventually, he was surrendered to the pound by his owners and, once some space became available, was moved to Sweet Pea where the search for his forever home began. Duke has now settled in and is more than ready for his happily-ever-after and can’t wait to meet his new family!
Duke’s medical history:
Duke was in great health when he arrived at Sweet Pea and has since been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is up to date with flea, tick and worming preventative treatments.

Duke is such a genuine soul with a pure heart and a very sweet nature. What you see is what you get with Duke! His favourite pastimes are simply playing, running and cuddling. No matter whether it be human or canine company, Duke makes friends with everyone. He is very affectionate and loves attention. He is a favourite amongst the Sweet Pea volunteers and will make an incredible and loyal addition to one very lucky and loving family.
Duke’s adoption fee is $450, which contributes towards his care at the rescue to date.
