Jaffa - Adopted!
Jaffa is a very charming and sensible 12 month old domestic short haired cat. Having recently settled into care at Sweet Pea he is now ready and waiting for his new adoptive family to arrive.
Jaffa’s personality:
This striking boy is full of affection and has become quite the smoocher since settling in at Sweet Pea. Whilst he is a little more reserved than his other kitty friends, he will be sure to let you know when he’s ready for some attention by giving you a gentle head butt in return for a pat or two! He is very at peace as long as he has a safe and secure spot to turn to in times of feeling slightly unsure, but after being given the time and patience to feel comfortable within his surroundings he will show his affection in no time! Once he has been given the reassurance that he needs he happily comes out of his shell and relaxes into content kitty mode.
Jaffa’s ideal forever home:
Jaffa’s ideal home will include one where he can have his own quiet space to retreat to when needed. He is a beautiful affectionate boy who will continue to thrive with patience and gentle reassurance. He will reward you with his trust and will make a long lasting, loyal companion.
Having come into care at Sweet Pea alongside his Mum and two siblings, Jaffa would ideally love another feline friend to share his home with. He appears to be slightly startled by the resident dogs at Sweet Pea so we anticipate he may be better off in a home without dogs.
As with all of our cats, it is a requirement that Jaffa be kept as an indoor cat only.
Jaffa’s story:
Jaffa was recently surrendered to Sweet Pea along with his two siblings ‘Sherbet’ and ‘Jellybean’ and their Mum ‘Skittles’ after their owner brought them in for euthanasia. The owner’s living arrangements had recently changed and she could no longer take care of these four beautiful cats in the way that they needed and deserved. After naturally taking a few days to settle in, Jaffa and his family have now come out of their shells and are showing their adventurous and smoochy side!
Jaffa’s medical history:
Jaffa is young and in very good health. He has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated with parasitic preventatives and is now ready and waiting to meet his new forever family!

Jaffa’s adoption fee is $200 which contributes towards the care he has received since arriving at the rescue.
