Zeus - Adopted!

Zeus is a 10 month old Catahoula X American Staffy pup, who loves affection and playtime, and is ready and waiting for his forever home.

Zeus’ personality:
Zeus is a super sweet Catahoula x American Staffy. At just 10 months old, he is a big puppy who doesn’t realise his size. Like most large dogs, he thinks he is a lap dog. Zeus is a big baby, who just loves a cuddle and a massage. If you sit down, it won’t be long before he joins you and tries to sit on your lap! Zeus can be fearful of new people and situations, but with time and patience, he will give you his trust. He loves his food, so that will definitely help with his training! Zeus loves to play and adores his toys, especially rope toys, balls and soft toys.

Zeus’ ideal forever home:
Zeus requires a home with someone who has experience with large and/or giant breed dogs. Zeus will need ongoing training and some assistance in learning manners. His family will have to be very patient with him as he needs time and help to build his confidence. Zeus will require someone home more often than not and would not suit a home with full-time workers. Zeus is very good with the other dogs that he has met and would love to have a doggy friend to live with. Due to Zeus’ size, we recommend that he goes to a home with children aged 5+, as he is likely to knock them over without meaning to.

Zeus’ story:
Zeus comes from a loving home. Unfortunately his owners were no longer in a position to have a dog and so they made the difficult decision to surrender Zeus to us. Zeus was born in the home of the family who surrendered him and he looks just like his Mum.

Zeus’ medical history:
Zeus is a healthy puppy and has been vaccinated, and treated for fleas, ticks, heartworm and intestinal worms. Zeus is desexed and is ready to find a family to call his own forever!

More about Zeus:
Zeus is a super sweet boy, and everyone who has met him says that he is a sweet, gorgeous boy, who gets excited very easily. He loves to play and his toys bring him immense joy, even if he does destroy them. He is a big puppy who has no comprehension of his size and strength, and takes time to warm up to new people and situations. Once he is comfortable though, he has mountains of love to give and will be happy to share that with his family. As excited as he can become, he does love a good cuddle and will sit for ages while you cuddle him.
