Cleo - Adopted!
Cleo is a beautiful 2 1/2 year old tabby, and the more secure she feels in her surroundings, the happier she is! Cleo loves attention and you will find her more loving as she settles in with you
Cleo’s personality:
Cleo has developed into a very sweet and loving cat. When she first came into our care, she was sassy and vocal, constantly letting you know she wanted your attention with headbutts and meows! While she would hiss and growl as part of her vocalisation there was no malice in her actions. She just wanted your attention and affection and would get it anyway she could. After settling in she has become a favourite amongst the staff and volunteers, all of whom describe her as sweet and affectionate.
Cleo’s ideal forever home:
.Cleo would ideally be suited to a single cat home where she can have your undivided attention when she wants it, and not share it with another kitty. She has not made friends with her cat neighbours, preferring her own company or time with people to that of her feline companions. Her dislike of other animals may extend to other pets like dogs, so if you are looking to have just one animal companion in your life Cleo would be perfect for you. Cleo is fairly laid back and enjoys her quiet time, preferring pats and rubs to active play, so a small or quiet family unit or an older couple would suit her well. As with all our rescue cats she should be an indoor only cat as this not only protects the cat but our local wildlife too.’s story:
Cleo’s Story:
Cleo came to Sweet Pea having been an outside cat. While she wasn’t feral in nature, she would be sure to let her feelings be known! Cleo was surrendered to us back in September and has flourished whilst in our care thanks to time and our lovely volunteers and staff supplying the love and affection she wanted. She has had no problem living indoors. Her time at Sweet Pea has allowed her to really settle into herself and become a lovely cat that would be a wonderful addition to any family. This adorable girl certainly deserves it!
Cleo’s medical history:
When she first arrived, she was slow to eat due to her changed circumstances, and this was to be expected. However, it didn’t take her long for her to settle down and her appetite improved greatly, and she is maintaining her weight. She is desexed and is up to date on all her vaccinations, flea, tick, and worming treatments.

At the beginning of her time at Sweet Pea, she did not get on well with other kitties, however this has improved with the nearness of some of the other rescue cats to the point that she will ‘tolerate’ other cat company – from a distance. She would love to be the only animal you shower with affection! While she loves her pats, rubs and scratches she will let you know when she has had enough so may be best to follow her lead and make decisions based on her displayed behaviours.
