Tucker’s personality:
Tucker is a happy and sweet pup, who loves everyone! He is playful and energetic, but can also entertain himself quite happily. He is bright and alert, and enjoys routine. Tucker is sensibly cautious around other doggies and will test the waters carefully before initiating play. He is loving and affectionate, and already shows loyalty.

Tucker’s ideal forever home:
Being a pup, Tucker will need attention and company. He will not suit a home where everyone works or goes to school. Tucker will need standard puppy training and will need to be included in family outings. He has lived a relatively sheltered life so far and needs to get out and about and see what the world has to offer.

Tucker’s story:
Tucker’s mum (Rottie) was impounded, and he and his siblings were born while she was still under duty of care. His start to life was not ideal. but from the time he came into care (around 4 weeks old), he has received the best care possible and has blossomed into a happy and healthy pup.

Tucker’s medical history:
Tucker appeared to have some visual issues when he first arrived but his sight seems just fine now. He was malnourished and a tad stunted when he first arrived with us, but has well and truly made up for that now! Tucker is desexed, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, ticks and intestinal worms. He is as healthy as they come!!

More about Tucker:
Tucker loves playing with toys. He is great at playing fetch (including return!) and already has amazing recall. He is gentle with humans and other dogs, and really does enjoy a good cuddle when the time is right.

Tucker was from a litter of 11 but sadly on 5 survived. His mum was impounded and she and her pups missed out on the important care and attention that they needed during those formative weeks. We’ve made sure that Tucker has more than made up for that time in his life. Tucker has been gaining a kilo a week for the past 4 weeks, and now weighs in at a very healthy 8 kgs.

Tucker has lived in relative isolation for the past 7 weeks, while his vaccinations have kicked in. He has socialised with all of our vollies and some of our other rescue doggies but he hasn’t been out into the real world yet. His new family will need to make sure that he feels safe and secure wherever he goes and he will need to be included in lots of family outings.

Tucker is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, ticks and intestinal worms. His adoption fee is $550.
