J.D Tennessee - Adopted!
J.D Tennessee is a sweet, 9 month old Bull Arab X. He loves to play and it is not often that you will see him without a toy in his mouth! J.D has a zest for life and can’t wait to find his forever family.
J.D’s personality:
J.D Tennessee is an approximately 9 month old Bull Arab X. He is a loving and affectionate boy, always wanting to have pats and love from any humans in his immediate vicinity. He is also a very fast learner, especially if there is food rewards involved! J.D works hard to please and loves to learn new tricks. Since being at Sweet Pea, he has mastered his sit and wait commands and would love to keep learning. J.D loves to play fetch, but hasn’t quite mastered bringing the toy back yet - so the game becomes more of a chase and pounce. He also loves to play in his doggie pool and cool off on hot days. This sweet boy is a joy to be around and is always content in human company.
J.D’s ideal forever home:
J.D’s ideal forever home would be one where his family have time to build on his basic training and puppy etiquette. J.D would learn well off an older, well-mannered doggie and would also love to have a playmate around that he could play chase with. A large, appropriately fenced yard would be ideal for J.D so that he can regularly show off his zoomies and be able to exert some energy. He will also require regular, daily exercise walks to help keep him in tip-top shape.
J.D’s story:
J.D was rescued by Sweet Pea from the Taree pound, so not much is known about his history prior to this, aside from the fact that he was picked up as a stray. Since arriving at Sweet Pea, he has definitely found a best friend in his mate, Whiskey and they love to run around the big yard together.
J.D’s medical history:
J.D is a happy healthy (23kg) boy and we anticipate that he will grow to be a large dog. He has been given regular flea, tick and worming preventatives since his arrival at Sweet Pea and is also fully vaccinated, desexed and microchipped.
More about J.D:

J.D’s adoption fee is $450, which helps to pay for his veterinary costs, parasitic treatments, and food while in care.
