Willow - Adopted!

Meet Willow, a gentle-natured 7 year old Border Collie. This loving girl is looking for her forever family, could that be you?

Willow’s personality:
Willow is a sweet 7 year old girl, with an affectionate and loving personality. She will cuddle right up to you and just loves to be around her humans. In saying that though, ball chasing time will occasionally win out over cuddles! Her gentle nature means that you will not be able to help falling in love once you have looked into her amber eyes. Willow love to go for walks and explore the world around her; she also walks like an angel on a lead!

Willow has 2 speeds - lounge lizard and play! She is quite content to laze around, but when it is playtime Willow always has the energy for it!

Willow’s ideal forever home:
Willow’s ideal forever home is one where she will have company at home more often than not. She doesn’t like to be on her own and will find a way to be close to her humans if she is missing them. She prefers the company of humans over other doggies, but will quite happily play and spend time with her fellow canines. She would suit a home with another doggy for companionship if her humans have to go to work for a couple of days a week. We are unsure how she will go in a home with cats, but Willow is not suited to a home with chickens, unless they can be housed separately. Thanks to Willow’s gentle and loving nature, she would definitely suit a home with children of any age.

Willow’s story:
Willow was originally surrendered into our care back in September 2022. This was her second home as far as we know and she was kept solely as an outside dog there. She was adopted in November 2022 into a lovely home, where unfortunately their circumstances recently changed and she was surrendered back to Sweet Pea in May 2024. Willow deserves for her next home to be her final and forever home and we hope that her perfect family is out there somewhere!

Willow’s medical history:
Willow is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with all parasitic preventatives. She does suffer from storm phobia that she has previously taken medication for, but is currently only taking medication daily to support generalised anxiety.

More about Willow:
Willow has been through so many changes in her life and we cannot wait to find her perfect home where she will be able to live her best life, forever. This gorgeous girl has so much love to give and any family would be lucky to welcome her into their home. As long as there is ball-chasing, lots of love, cuddles and a yard for exploring, Willow will not want for much more!

Willow’s adoption fee is $450 which contributes towards her care to date and helps support Sweet Pea to continue helping animals in need.
