Teddy - Adopted!
Teddy is a sweet boy who, at only 18 months old, is looking for his forever family. He loves to explore and can’t wait to be your affectionate, loyal companion.
Teddy’s personality:
Teddy is the bundle of fun you have been looking for! He is a 1 and a half year old French Bulldog, on the lookout for his forever family. Teddy is aptly named - he is an affectionate and cuddly boy, preferring to snuggle up near you on his favourite fluffy bed or next to you on the couch. He prefers to be kept company and stay near his humans, so he would love it if he could help you out with your daily tasks. He will quite happily potter around behind you and check on what you are doing, just to make sure there are no extra snacks he might be missing out on! Teddy loves his food, so ongoing training will be a breeze and he is not a fussy eater.
Teddy loves going for walks and will happily explore for as long as he can, sniffing his way through the world around him. If you love a good stroll, Teddy will happily accompany you on your daily adventures. Teddy is also a bit of a water baby! His foster mum shared the story of the morning he joined her in the shower! Where he quite happily played and let the water run on his face until she was finished. Teddy is such a character and is sure to bring lots of laughs, love and good memories into your family.
Teddy’s ideal forever home:
Teddy will need a home that is aware of the care required, or has had prior experience with Brachycephalic breeds. He would also best suit a home where he has company more often than not, as he doesn’t like to spend too long on his own. He gets along well with other small dogs but has not been around many big doggies, so introductions will be necessary throughout the application process. We anticipate that Teddy would enjoy having another doggy as company while his humans are out running errands. Teddy has never been around, or tested with cats or pocket pets and seems to prefer the company of children over the age of 5.
Teddy would love a home where he can go on daily walks - he loves a good sniff! Above all else, Teddy will offer so much love and companionship - all he wants is the same in return from his new family.
Teddy’s story:
Teddy was sadly, surrendered by his family who had owned him since he was a puppy. They were only given 1 weeks notice to remove him from their rental and were left with no other choices but to surrender him to a rescue or the pound. Teddy spent a few days here at the rescue, before moving into one of our loving foster homes where he has settled in well!
Teddy’s medical history:
Teddy has now been desexed and is up to date with vaccinations and parasitic preventatives. He is also microchipped and has been given a clean bill of health by our vet - ready for the next chapter of his life!
