Mitzi - Adopted!
Mitzi is our sweet senior - at 8 years old, she is looking for her perfect retirement home.
Mitzi’s personality:
Mitzi is a sweet senior, 8 year old Miniature Foxie. She loves other doggies and is always happy to say hello to new friends she meets on her walks. Even considering the fact she is 8 years old, Mitzi still loves to run around and play! Mitzi prefers regular human company and as such, will suit a home where she is not left alone for long periods. Pats or cuddles are her love language and she will make a great companion to snuggle on the couch with. Other hobbies of Mitzi’s also include sunbathing, going for walks and dinner time!
Mitzi’s ideal forever home:
Mitzi’s ideal forever home is one where she will have company at home more often than not and would best suit a retirement age couple or single female looking for companionship. Mitzi has lived with other dogs previously and gets along well with other doggies she meets, so a canine companion in the home would also be good for her. Mitzi can be anxious in new situations or with loud noises, so would be best in a home without young children.
Mitzi’s story:
Mitzi was surrendered by her owner who she had lived with her whole life. Unfortunately Mitzi could not make the move to their new house as there was limited outdoor space, and was sadly surrendered to Sweet Pea Animal Rescue so she could find her perfect new forever family. Mitzi has taken quite a bit of time to adjust to the big changes and is currently living in a wonderful foster home where she has settled in well.
Mitzi’s medical history:
Mitzi has recently had a dental procedure where her teeth were cleaned and some extractions were done - this means her pearly whites are now in tip-top shape! She is also desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is regularly treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

Mitzi is a sweet, gentle girl who can’t wait to settle into a new home and life with her forever family. She would love to go for daily walks and wouldn’t mind having a canine companion at home for when her humans have to go out for a while. Mitzi is very affectionate and would love to join in on watching your favourite shows in the evening.
Mitzi’s adoption fee is $450, which contributes towards the cost of her care and medical treatment to date.
