Boof - Adopted!!

Whoever said patience is a virtue was clearly talking about this beautiful boy. Boof, our loveable 5 year old Bulldog, has now (surprisingly) been in our care for 15 months. He is most definitely ready for his special forever family to come and meet him today.

Boof’s personality:
Boof is a big but gentle boy with a very sweet and affectionate personality. Tummy rubs and cuddles are a must with this handsome young man, as is telling him how cute he is on a regular basis! He loves to be active and enjoys time spent outdoors on his daily walks - preferring to be out and about in the company of his favourite humans over playing with his toys.
This happy-go-lucky lapdog (yes, he thinks of himself as a lapdog!) constantly has a smile on his face and simply loves being a part of whatever adventure is on offer. Once settled, Boof will fit seamlessly into any family that has lots of love to spare.

Boof’s ideal forever home:
Boof’s ideal forever home will be one where his family can take him on lots of adventures so he can get his regular exercise, plus all the love and attention that this cuddle-monster deserves. Having been in a shelter environment for so long, Boof will understandably need some time to settle into his new home life and will appreciate the patience needed for him to do this. Ongoing training will be beneficial so that Boof can continue to be the best boy he can possibly be.
Although Boof plays and interacts well with other doggies once he gets to know them, he prefers the full attention of his human companions so would be best suited at this stage as an only pet. He is untested around cats so we anticipate avoiding this if possible!
Boof will ideally suit a home with a single owner due to his love for being the centre of attention, however, he is also great with kids of all ages. If the home is one with younger children, we suggest that they be experienced with bigger dogs like Boof.

Boof’s story:
Boof was surrendered to Sweet Pea after a change in circumstances within his family. He had lived in the same home his whole life but his owners were no longer able to give him the attention he deserved following this change and so they made the tough decision to surrender him. He has now been at Sweet Pea for 15 months and it absolutely breaks our hearts. Boof deserves to have a home and a family that loves him unconditionally.

Boof’s medical history:
Boof is a healthy boy - weighing in at 33kg! He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with all flea, tick and worming preventatives.

Boof is a very sweet boy whose simple request is to be included in the daily life of his very own family. He would love regular walks and once this is done, will happily laze around soaking up the sunshine for the rest of the day! This loyal boy loves people - give him a good ol’ head pat and watch this gorgeous boy's face light up with a smile.
It’s well and truly time for him to start his new life with his forever family.

Boof’s adoption fee is $450 which contributes towards his care to date.
