Abigail - Adopted!
Meet Abigail, our gorgeous (almost) 3 year old, pocket rocket pug! She is looking for her prefect forever family.
Abigail’s personality:
Abigail is a sweet and loving, almost 3 year old Pug. She loves to be around people and is always ready for a cuddle! Abigail has classic Pug energy and her excited wiggles will melt your heart as she runs around playing.
She walks well on a lead and harness and really enjoys going for walks - Abigail has quite the nose on her and loves to stop regularly for sniffs. Abigail is big on cuddles and loves to be scooped up and held in your arms. She has a confident personality and is also very affectionate.
Abigail’s ideal forever home:
Abigail would suit pretty much any home that has room for Pug love in their life! She gets along well with other doggies and would be great with children because of her small size. Her ideal forever home would include her as a member of their family and ensure that she gets regular walks as well as including her in day to day activities.
Abigail’s story:
Abigail was picked up as a stray in Taree alongside what we believe was her daughter and another Male pug. They all completed their mandatory council impound time at Sweet Pea and fortunately, the other two pugs were adopted quickly into a wonderful family. Abigail has settled in well at Sweet Pea Animal Rescue and has really come out of her shell - she especially loves the attention and cuddles from our volunteer team.
Abigail’s medical history:
Abigail is a happy and healthy girl. She has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

We are unsure what Abigail’s life looked like before she was picked up as a stray, but we know now for sure that this sweet girl is living her best life and can’t wait for her next chapter. She deserves and loving and secure forever home, with a family that will always be there for her.
Abigail is a happy go-lucky kinda girl, that loves to snuggle up and have human company. She would suit having a canine companion that she could play with and would also love to go for regular walks and adventures with her new family.
