Mabel - Adopted!
Mabel is a gorgeous little 3 month old fluff ball who gives the most wonderful cuddles.
Mabel’s personality:
Mabel is a very sweet and gentle kitten. She is a little shy at first but once she gets comfortable (about 10 minutes in!), she quickly comes around and is super-duper smoochy and inquisitive. She love a good snuggle. Like most kittens, she is playful and loves to explore. Mabel is absolutely adorable!
Mabel’s ideal forever home:
Mabel would thrive in a quiet home with another cat or kitten, and plenty of human cuddles. Because she is still a little shy, it would be best for her not to be overwhelmed in a home that is too noisy or busy. .Mabel really needs to find a family who can give her all the love and attention she deserves. As with all of our rescue cats, Mabel must be kept indoors only.
Mabel’s story:
We are told that Mabel and her sibling were found in a second-hand lounge that was delivered to a rural property. They were both quite fractious and nervous at first. After a few days, they were both brought into our care. Sadly, Mabel’s sibling passed away the first night that they arrived in our care. His autopsy indicated that he had most likely consumed rat bait. We started Mabel on treatment immediately, although she did not show any symptoms. And thankfully she has been very healthy.
Mabel’s medical history:
Other than arriving a little underweight and in need of a good worming, Mabel has been healthy and happy from day one. She has a healthy appetite. She is now desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms.
More about Mabel:
Mabel has shared her space with a number of different cats and kittens since arriving in our care. She has got along well with everyone and been up for playing and interacting regardless of the size or age of her companions.
We recently tried to transition her out to our main cattery but she was a little overwhelmed by the change, so we have kept Mabel inside in our hospital where she gets plenty of attention. But recently has been experiencing less interaction with other cats or kittens. If Mabel moves into a home with a feline sibling, proper introductions will need to happen to ensure that she feels safe and secure.
Mabel is ready and waiting for her new furever family. She has spent enough time on her own now and needs her very own people to love and adore her. Mabel’s adoption fee is $150. The first family to meet her will fall head over heels in love with her!!
