Cat Adoption Questionnaire

Thank you for applying to adopt a rescue cat and saving a life!

PLEASE NOTE that completion of this questionnaire does not guarantee the adoption of a rescue cat from Sweet Pea Animal Rescue (SPAR). The questionnaire is a tool designed to help SPAR source the best possible forever homes for the cats that we rescue.

Upon completion of the questionnaire and prior to any decision being made, a ‘secure home check’ must be completed by SPAR. If the application is successful, the adoption fee must be paid in full prior to adoption. All SPAR rescue animals are subject to a two-week trial. If you decide during the two-week trial that you do not want to keep the cat, we will happily refund your adoption fee, minus a $50 administration fee, when the cat is returned.

In some cases, more than one application will be received for the adoption of the same rescue cat. The decision is then with SPAR as to which application is the most suitable for the cat in question. If the cat you apply for is adopted by someone else, we are happy to try and help you find another suitable cat to adopt. However, no guarantee can be given that a suitable cat will be found.
