Sammy - Adopted!

Sammy is a soft and sweet boy, who is a little quieter than some of our bachelors but has a sincerity, soulfulness and gentleness to him that just melts your heart!

Sammy’s personality:
Sammy is a big softy. He really loves and enjoys human companionship; always sitting close to initiate affection. He loves to be patted and seems to take great delight in any human interaction.

Sammy’s ideal forever home:
Sammy would do well in a home that is calm and quiet; and where he will get plenty of love & affection! He has formed a beautiful friendship with one of our other rescue boys, Hugo but can be a bit sensitive to more dominant cats. He would most likely be stressed by a busy or noisy household.

Sammy’s story:
Sammy has been in care at Sweet Pea since November last year, so we have had plenty of time to get to know & love him. Prior to arriving with us, Sammy had been taken in by a lovely mature couple after his owner went into care. There were concerns that he may become a bit of a trip hazard for the husband, so it was decided that he needed a more suitable forever home. As soon as we saw his gorgeous face in a photo, we knew that we had to rescue him. 

Sammy’s medical history:
Sammy is fit as a fiddle. He has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for ticks, fleas & intestinal worms.

More about Sammy:
Sammy is an absolutely beautiful 18 month old who has been in care at Sweet Pea since November last year., so we have had plenty of time to get to know & love him.

Sammy spent his for little while in our hospital, while we waited for space to become available in our cattery. During this time, he was very content and happy. He loved all the attention and affection he received. Once Sammy moved out to the cattery, it took him a little while to settle into his new surroundings, but he now has a BFF in little Hugo!
