Seymour’s personality:
Seymour is a handsome, laid back, lover of affection and being held. He is happy to sit back and watch the world go by, but he also enjoys getting involved in the action too! It’s all at his pace, though. He is a docile and easy going boy, who takes everything as it comes. Cool as a cucumber, this gorgeous guy is!

Seymour’s ideal forever home:
Seymour would suit any home really, but would probably be happiest in a home that is cruisy like him! He likes to do things at his own pace but will take all the love and affection on offer, so he would enjoy having company and someone who will share the couch with him. He would most likely suit a home with another feline friend! As with all of our rescue cats, he must be kept indoors only.

Seymour’s story:
Seymour was brought to us after being trapped on a rural property. He had been hanging about looking for food and was not in great shape - friendly but skinny and a bit unkempt. Thankfully, our local pound refused to take him and so he came to us. We were very short on space, so Seymour was relegated to our hospital isolation room, along with two other kitty cat families totalling 9 other kitties. He was awesome with them all!!

Seymour’s medical history:
Seymour’s medical history is unknown. We estimate his age at around 18 months. Seymour was thin and depressed when he arrived into our care but has come along really well with a good diet and proper care. He has a sensitive tummy and so eats a special gastrointestinal cat biscuit, but is otherwise healthy. Seymour is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for ticks, fleas & intestinal worms.

More about Seymour:
Seymour is a special cat. And he deserves a special home. He enjoys being held more than any other cat we have met and so, he needs a home where he will get plenty of gentle love and affection.

Despite his less than ideal start to life, Seymour is gentle and sweet and will seek out the affection and attention of humans and other felines. He does have a sensitive tummy, so he will need a home where his humans are prepared to ensure that he receives the right diet and care that he needs.

Seymour gets along well with adult cats and kittens, but he would most likely be just as happy in a home where he is the only cat, as long as he has lots of human company.

Seymour’s name came about as we were searching for a “ginger” name, and a few of us at Sweet Pea think that Philip Seymour Hoffman, the actor, was a unique, talented and kind human being, and he looks a bit like our magnificent feline namesake!

Seymour’s adoption fee is $150. He is ready and rearing to go to the right home. So, if you think you have what it takes, then please complete an Adoption Questionnaire and hit submit! Thank you ;-)
