Peanut - Adopted!
Peanut is an extremely handsome and smoochy 2.5 year old boy, who is eagerly waiting for a new family to call his very own.
Peanut’s personality:
Two words can perfectly describe this adorable boy - sleek smoocher! Peanut loves affection - both giving it and receiving it - he will lovingly come to you with a gentle head butt when he’s in need of a pat. He loves having that sleek fur brushed and readily enjoys a good old scratch behind the ears. This inquisitive boy loves to explore and especially enjoys perching himself up somewhere high. He is a window-gazer, intently watching the world around him from the comfort of a snug, secure spot.
This sweet, attentive boy is certain to make the perfect addition to his new forever home.
Peanut’s ideal forever home:
Upon arriving at Sweet Pea, this gorgeous boy was giving off all the good vibes! He wasn’t phased by the other cats and in return he was greeted by friendly meows and welcoming glances! Because of this, we anticipate that Peanut would fit into a home with existing cats if required.
Peanut has previously lived with a doggie friend, so we foresee he will also be fine in a home with dogs, so long as he is able to be kept safely as an indoor-only cat. As per our terms of adoption, all rescue cats must be kept indoors only.
As long as there is plenty of attention and affection on offer, Peanut will fit in just about anywhere!
Peanut’s story:
Peanut was recently taken to a local vet for euthanasia after his owner, couldn’t keep him contained safely inside. Unfortunately due to Peanut no longer being kept exclusively inside, he had started harming native wildlife. The vet contacted Sweet Pea Animal Rescue and thankfully we had some space open up and were able to take on this beautiful, loving boy. Thanks to Peanut’s resilient nature, he has settled into Sweet Pea seamlessly and is now ready and waiting for his new adoring family to call him their own.
Peanut’s medical history:
Peanut is a happy boy who is in great health. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with parasitic preventatives.
