Nerida - Adopted!

Our beautiful, cuddly, 5 year old Tortie girl

Nerida’s personality:
Nerida is one sweet kitty. She is 5 years young, but has the napping capabilities of a much older cat! She loves affection but is also content to be alone and chilled out when that suits her schedule better. When she does want affection, she will make sure that you know it – head butting your hand and rubbing herself against your legs. She was a little timid when joining the cattery crew, but is now flourishing! She likes to explore her surrounds and introduce herself to the other cats. There isn’t a mean bone in her cuddly little body!

Nerida’s ideal forever home:
Nerida has such a sweet temperament and would best suit a quiet home where she has time to lounge around, but also be doted on with lots of affection. The ideal home for Nerida would be a single person, couple, or a family with older children. She has adjusted well to being part of the cattery family and shares her enclosure with another young cat Biddy, so has shown she gets along well with other cats. Her forever family will need to be able to encourage her to be as active as possible to ensure she reaches and stays at a healthy weight. As with all our rescue cats, Nerida will need to be an inside only cat, not just for her safety but that of the local wildlife.

Nerida’s story:
Nerida was surrendered to the pound as the owner could no longer keep her. Sweet Pea Animal Rescue was able to save her and she has now been with us since late June. She has settled in nicely but can’t wait for her forever family to take her home so she can live her best life with cat naps and cuddles.

Nerida’s medical history:
Nerida is currently slightly more overweight than she should be - but we call her cuddly! Her diet is managed so that she is hopefully able to shed some weight. She also needs some dental work and teeth cleaning which will be completed prior to adoption. Nerida’s previous medical history is unknown, but she is now up to date with her vaccinations and is on preventative treatments for flea, ticks and worms.

Nerida is a beautiful 5-year-old, dark tortie DSH cat. She has a lovely temperament and gets along well with other cats. She is only small in size, but is currently a little plump – we don’t say fat though, just cuddly!!
