Blaze and Zhan - Adopted!

Blaze & Zhan are an exotic mature couple, looking for a loving retirement home!

Blaze & Zhan’s personalities:
Blaze is an amazing 15 year old Burmese boy who is very affectionate, loves smooches and his food! And Zhan is a beautiful 11 year old Tonkinese girl, who is a little shy at first but loving and affectionate once she is in her comfort zone.

Blaze & Zhan’s ideal forever home:
Due to the age of this precious duo, and the number of years they have spent together, they will need to be adopted together. Their ideal home will be a quiet, loving and calm place, with preferably no other pets. As with all of our rescue cats, they must be kept indoors only.

Blaze & Zhan’s story:
These two beauties grew up in the same household. Their elderly owner was previously a breeder of Burmese and Tonkinese. As is so often the case, their owner was no longer able to live on her own and her family were unable to take on the care and responsibility of Blaze & Zhan. There was a third feline member of the family, who was a little bit younger. The family were able to find her an alternative home, but unfortunately for Blaze & Zhan that was not the case.

Blaze & Zhan’s medical history:
Blaze & Zhan both arrived in our care in good health. Due to their age, we carried out blood tests on both of them and their results were mostly within normal ranges and were otherwise unremarkable. Both received a dental prophylaxis and had a few extractions, which is not unusual in cats of their age. They are both in very good health and condition, and are now up to date with vaccinations, and treatment for fleas, ticks and intestinal worms.

More about Blaze & Zhan:
Blaze & Zhan are both quiet and affectionate cats. They have lived together their whole lives, in one home, with one person. Their whole world fell apart in January this year, when their owner was no longer able to live on her own. Along with other family issues, this proved to be a very stressful time for both cats - but they are now settled, have adjusted well, and are ready to find a new forever home where they can retire gracefully.

As already mentioned, both Blaze and Zhan are up to date with all of their veterinary treatments, and both are desexed. Their adoption fee is $100 each, and they are ready and waiting to go!
