Ellie & Nicky - Adopted!
Ellie (8) and Nicky (5) arrived together and will stay together. They are both sweet and happy mature girls, looking for a loving home together.
Ellie & Nicky’s personalities:
Ellie is a sweet & affectionate girl who is a little anxious but this is settling down nicely as she settles in to her new environment. Nicky is also super sweet, but perhaps not initially as outgoing as Ellie. She does, however, LOVE to play - and play!
Ellie & Nicky’s ideal forever home:
These girls are use to having company, so would suit any home where they have family around them. They are good with other doggies and also good with children.
Ellie & Nicky’s story:
Ellie & Nicky belonged to an elderly couple who have both sadly now passed away. Their family all have doggies of their own and so have decided to surrender the girls for rehoming, The initial thought was to only surrender Ellie but it was quickly evident that the girls love each other dearly and do not want to be separated. They have grown quite dependent on each other.
Ellie & Nicky’s medical history:
Ellie has undergone surgery since arriving in our care to have a few lumps and bumps removed. She also had a fractured molar that was removed at the same time. Due to her anxiety we are trialing her on some medication which seems to already be helping. She is also a bit overweight, so we have started her on a weight management biscuit. Due to her age, we have also done a full blood screen on Ellie which she passed with flying colours.
Nicky is in great health. Both girls are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for heart worm, ticks, fleas and intestinal worms.
More about Ellie & Nicky:
Ellie & Nicky are both super sweet, friendly and affectionate girls. Despite being home bodies before coming into our care, they both love going for walks and are active doggies.
Nicky loves to play ball and will fetch for as long as you will throw!
They are an unlikely duo, but are the best of friends. They do everything together - eat, sleep, play, walk, & talk. They most certainly deserve to live out their lives together in a happy and loving home.
