Star - Adopted!
This shining star is a beautiful, 3 year old male Greyhound!
Star’s personality:
Star is a gentle, sweet and fun-loving 3 year old greyhound. Star is a very snuggly boy and is never far from your side - his long legs make it very easy for him to come in for cuddles. He loves playtime and chasing balls, stretching his long legs as he runs. Star loves going for walks and spending time with human company. He is an extremely clever boy, with a cheeky side that makes everyone he meets fall in love with him.
Star’s ideal forever home:
Star would suit a home where there is a large fenced backyard, with lots of room for him to play fetch and frolic. He loves human company and would also suit a home where he has another dog for company. He hasn’t been temperament tested with cats or other small animals but we assume that he has come from a racing background. Star is a beautiful, snuggly boy and above all else - he needs a home with lots of love to give. Previous experience with greyhounds would also be ideal but not necessary!
Star’s story:
Star came to us on doggie transport all the way from Cobar after spending quite a bit of time there, but his history is mostly unknown prior to this. Star has settled in well since arriving here, loving the affection and playtime he gets on a daily basis. He has also made firm friends with one of our other rescue doggies – Louie!
Star’s medical history:
Star is a healthy, approximately 3 year old Greyhound but is currently slightly underweight for his size. Thanks to his healthy appetite, he is slowly gaining weight since being at Sweet Pea. He also has some dry skin on his back, so he is being pampered with baths twice a week to improve his coat condition. Star is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, up to date with all flea, tick and worming preventions and is ready to find his forever home!
