Louie - Adopted!
This beautiful smiley boy loves everyone!
Louie’s personality:
Louie is a gorgeous and charismatic American Bulldog. He is 4 years old and still has the heart of a puppy – he is playful, friendly and loves everyone! Louie is a sweetheart and always has the biggest smile on his face. He likes to be around people so that he can make sure he is given his recommended daily intake of cuddles and pats. Louie much prefers a nice long walk with lots of good smells over playing with toys. He is good with other dogs and cats and has made some great new friends since being at Sweet Pea.
Louie’s ideal forever home:
Louie’s ideal forever home would be one where he is able to be around his family for most of the day. He prefers companionship and is happiest when he has another doggie or someone around that he can chat to. He likes to go on walks and would love his new family to be able to take him out at least once a day for exercise. Louie is a medium to large breed dog and would be best suited to a home with children over 10 or if younger, then they have had some experience with larger doggies.
Louie’s story:
Louie was rescued by Sweet Pea at the end of September after being surrendered to Port Macquarie Animal Shelter. He was becoming increasingly stressed in that environment and also needed urgent medical treatment for a skin condition. Since coming to Sweet Pea, Louie is now on the mend! He is receiving veterinary treatment for his skin and is loving his new doggie friends that he has made so far. He has settled in well and is now looking for his forever home!
Louie’s medical history:
Louie is currently undergoing treatment to treat his skin condition which has included a change in diet to non-poultry food, antibiotics and skin biopsies; all of which have improved his skin significantly since he arrived. Louie has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is receiving preventative treatments for fleas, ticks and worms.
