Bailey’s personailty:
Bailey is a sweet, 4 and a halfyear old black and tan Australian Kelpie, whose favourite thing in the world is fetch. She would happily chase a ball for hours on end! When Bailey is finally too tired from playing fetch, she loves to come in for a cuddle and some pats. She will tell you exactly when she needs a little bit of extra loving and will return it all with Kelpie kisses and hugs. This beautiful, energetic girl will steal your heart when she looks at you with pleading eyes to please throw her ball! Bailey is definitely a water dog and will plop herself down in the pool to cool off and splash around just for good measure.
Bailey’s ideal forever home:
Bailey is a high energy girl, who will need a family that can keep up with her - if not outrun her! She will need regular exercise including walks or a run and playtime (fetch of course). Bailey is great with all other doggies she has met and loves having a companion on her walks. However, during playtime, she is more interested in the ball - can you see the theme here!? Bailey will fit well in to any family, provided they have the time to provide her exercise and cuddles! She can’t wait to find her forever family.
Bailey’s story:
Bailey grew up in a home with another Kelpie brother and a younger human brother. They used to live rurally but after a move into town, Bailey really struggled to adapt and cope with the change. Bailey was very well loved by her family and they had to make the very hard decision that there would be a more suitable home out there for her. Bailey loves her time with the volunteers at Sweet Pea, but cannot wait for her new family to come along to meet her.
Bailey’s medical history:
Bailey is desexed and is up to date with vaccinations and preventative treatments for flea, ticks and worms. She is a healthy young girl, waiting patiently for her forever home!

More than anything, Bailey would love the space to run free and play to her hearts content. She is a beautiful girls who shows so much affection towards humans and would love a forever home where she is the centre of their human’s world. Bailey, with her committed and obsessive Kelpie spirit just wants to chase the ball again, and again, and again!
