Licorice - Adopted!

Licorice is a handsome 9 week old kitten who loves to wrestle with his brothers and sister!

Licorice’s personality:
Licorice is a sweet kitten that loves to have his head scratched -he always checks in for a pat when his siblings are getting attention to make sure he gets included too. He is less competitive than his brothers for attention and enjoys one on one time where he is the centre of attention. When you are holding Licorice, he is so affectionate that he nuzzles into your face, giving you gentle pats with his tiny paws. Then to top it all off, he gives you kisses! Licorice loves to play with his toys and wrestle with his siblings - he will often try to use the element of surprise to pounce on them!

Licorice’s ideal forever home:
Licorice would suit a home with another feline playmate - he loves to wrestle and chase his toys around then snuggle up for a nap. He will need lots of room to play and a good selection of toys to interact with. A home where his family is home often would be more suitable for Licorice so that he is able to receive regular human interaction and playtime. Licorice along with his siblings, are all litter trained already. As with all our rescue cats, Licorice will need to be adopted as indoor only.

Licorice’s story:
Licorice arrived with his three siblings after being found alone in Forster in mid-August. We believe they are around 9 weeks old now and quite possibly have some Ragdoll in their breeding. Although they didn't appear to have had much human contact when they arrived in our care, they have come around very quickly! They now enjoy humans petting and cuddling them - in fact, they demand it!

Licorice’s medical history:
Licorice is a very healthy kitten. He is up to date with flea, tick and worming prevention currently and will desexed, microchipped and vaccinated prior to his adoption.

More about Licorice:
Licorice took a little longer to adjust to his new environment than his siblings but you wouldn’t know it now! He is a cuddly and playful kitten with such a delicate little purr. He loves pats and head scratches and can’t wait to find his safe forever home where he can play to his hearts content!

The adoption fee for Licorice is $200 and this goes towards providing his care and medical expenses to date.
