Franklin - Adopted!

Franklin is such a sweet boy, an observer of the world and as playful as a young kitten! He is 8 months old and ready to find his forever family.

Franklin’s personality:
At only 8 months old, Franklin has had a rough start to life. He found himself in the pound after being picked up as a stray and he just can't wait to start over!
Franklin is a very special boy - he is sweet and gentle, playful and observant, and absolutely LOVES a head rub! Affection is always on his own terms as he adjusts to being around humans regularly, but you can be sure that you will always win him over with chin scratches.
Franklin likes to spend most of his time in an observer role and can be quite shy when you first meet him, but once the toys are out he is a different cat! He absolutely loves to pass the time chasing toys and batting them around. He loves to be up high so he gets the best view of all the action and his perch of choice is always his hammock.

Franklin’s ideal forever home:
Franklin's ideal forever home is one where he is able to spend time on his own when he needs it and can also come in for cuddles when he is ready. Lots of playtime is also a must for Franklin! Places that he can sit up high, or even a window hammock would suit him perfectly. He seems to enjoy the company of other cats and is currently rooming with Madison in the cattery. As will all of our rescues, Franklin will need to be adopted as indoor only.

Franklin’s story:
Franklin came into the care of Sweet Pea Animal Rescue direct from the pound, where he had arrived as a stray and was never claimed. This sweet, gentle boy took some time to come around to his new environment but has since settled well and absolutely loves his playtime and cuddles with the volunteers. He mostly keeps to himself, but the real Franklin comes out when they toys are about!

Franklin’s medical history:
Franklin is a very healthy boy! Since he has been in our care, he has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and has been regularly treated with parasitic preventatives.

Franklin is still only young and deserves to be living his best kitten life! He is looking for a family that will love him unconditionally and spend time during the day playing with him. In turn, Franklin will provide love and loyalty always!

Franklin's adoption fee is $250, which contributes towards his vet work, food, housing and other needs while he is in care.
