Introducing the beautiful, bright - Belly! Belly is a 10 month old kitten who is full of life and looking for her forever home!
Belly’s personality:
This gorgeous, fun-filled girl is Belly; a 10-month-old domestic short hair who is just beaming with life. Belly is inquisitive and playful and is a natural joy to be around - you can't help but smile when this sweet girl is in your presence! She is very attentive and loves to watch what's going on around her. We certainly envision her sitting in a comfortable spot on a windowsill in your home where she can witness the world around her!
Belly is very smoochy and affectionate, but she is often too busy for a big cuddle! She will happily spend time in your company and come in for a pat when she needs a top up of love though. Once she is exhausted from playing, we anticipate Belly will be a very happy couch cat!
Belly’s ideal forever home:
Belly doesn't seem intimidated by the other cats around her at Sweet Pea so would happily join an existing cat family with slow introductions, however she is also versatile enough to feel comfortable being the only cat in the home. Her ideal environment would be a home with lots of space to run and play, high places to nap and secure windows to gaze out of!
Belly is exuberant and loves to play, so she would be best suited in a home with older children, or ones that are able to understand and respond appropriately to her body language. As with all of our rescue cats, she must be kept indoors only.
Belly’s story:
Belly has been with us here at Sweet Pea since September after she was surrendered by her owners. Unfortunately members of their family developed severe allergies to her and were heartbroken to have to surrender her. Belly has settled in well since arriving at Sweet Pea, delighting all the staff with her antics!
Belly’s medical history:
Belly is a happy and healthy young 10 month old girl. She is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is treated regularly with parasitic preventatives.
More about Belly:
Although Belly is independent and makes her own fun, she is always up for a game with you - playing with her feathery toys or having a ball thrown for her.
Belly’s adoption fee is $250, which contributes towards her medical care, housing, food and other costs while in care.
