Boo - Adopted!
Boo is a gentle girl who loves affection and cuddles
Boo’s personality:
Boo is a gorgeous black DSH (domestic short-haired) girl who is 13 years old. She is very affectionate and loves having human company. Boo loves pats and will smooch around your legs until you provide them! She has the sweetest miaow and is quite chatty – she especially loves to tell you when she is feeling hungry.
Boo’s ideal forever home:
Boo would suit a home with older children and other cats. She loves to have a calm relaxing environment to spend her time and would love a designated sun-baking spot! As with all of our rescue cats, Boo will need to be adopted as an indoor only cat.
Boo’s story:
Boo was rescued from the Taree pound and came into the care of Sweet Pea. She was given a full health check as she was quite underweight at only 3kg. Boo has managed to gain weight and is now up to 3.5kg after 6 weeks. She loves the affection from all the staff at Sweet Pea.
Boo’s medical history:
Boo arrived at Sweet Pea underweight and with her coat in poor condition. After running some tests, Boo was found to have an overactive thyroid so she is now on a special diet and receiving lots of love and care so that she is able to continue to gain weight. The dietary treatment has been effective and her thyroid levels are now much better. Boo has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is up to date with flea, tick and worming preventatives.
