Timon

Timon is an adorable 10 month old mixed breed boy, waiting patiently for his happily ever after. He is a playful, cuddly bundle of joy!

Timon’s personality:
Timon is a 10 month old boy who we were informed is a Boerboel X; he is just full of life! This playful boy loves to be on the go and especially when there are balls to be chased. Timon will lap up any attention you are able to give him, seeking out lots of pats and having a good old game of fetch. Timon adores other doggies and is always up for a game of chase or tug of war. When it is time for a quick break, he is straight in to the doggy pool to cool down and lap up some water. Timon loves to have a playmate and in fact, prefers it over entertaining himself but is also confident enough to do his own thing.
His personality shines through daily in the confident way that he struts around and adapts so quickly to new situations. Timon has been attending weekend soccer games on occasion, with two of our wonderful volunteers. He really enjoys his outings and loves to meet new people!
Timon's playful side is beautifully balanced by his cuddly and affectionate nature. He will always check in for a cuddle, even during playtime and looks for reassurance from his humans in new situations. He will make one amazing companion for a very lucky family..

Timon’s ideal forever home:
Timon will require a home where he is able to have someone keep him company while he settles in to his new home. Because he is still young, we would recommend that Timon attends puppy school or receives ongoing training for socialisation and to help him be the best grown up doggy that he can be. Timon has such a playful personality and loves to have human or doggy company - he would suit a forever family that already has a well-adjusted doggy that can show him the ropes or one that needs a playmate! Timon will need a nice, grassy yard that is fully fenced so that he can run and play safely at home.
Timon would suit pretty much any home as far as we can tell! The most important thing is that he will have attentive and loving owners that will help him feel secure while he is still young and introduce him to the big wide world.

Timon’s story:
Timon was found as a stray in Forster in February. He was not microchipped and was picked up by the council, ending up in the pound. Timon was never claimed by his owners and is still waiting patiently for his loving forever home.
Timon is well and truly settled here at Sweet Pea; something that we are grateful for, but that makes us very sad. He deserves to be in a home with a loving family that he can cuddle up to each night and know that he belongs.

Timon’s medical history:
Timon is desexed and also fully vaccinated. He is a very happy, healthy boy who has also been microchipped and treated regularly with preventatives for fleas, ticks and worms.

More about Timon:
Timon has grown from a typical puppy, into a young man before our eyes. His favourite pastimes still include zoomies, chasing balls, play wrestling and exploring the world around him.
