Snow and Rocky are a delightful duo with unique personalities that perfectly balance each other. Snow, the playful sister, loves attention and has a quirky side—she’ll even happily participate in dress-up games. Her brother Rocky is the gentle giant of the pair, friendly and sociable, especially with other dogs. Both dogs adore children and are exceptionally tolerant, making them perfect companions for little ones. They both thrive on affection, love trips to the beach, and are happiest when surrounded by their human family. While they’re not destructive, storms can make them uneasy, but a comforting presence calms their nerves.

**Ideal Forever Home**

Snow and Rocky need a home where they can stay together—they’ve spent their whole lives side by side and are deeply bonded. Their ideal forever home is a spacious property with plenty of room to roam and explore. A family that is home often, with the time and love to devote to their care, would suit them perfectly. While great with children, they need a home without pocket pets or small dogs, as their behavior around them can be unpredictable. Their new family should also be prepared to support their journey toward a healthier weight.

**Journey**

Snow and Rocky’s lives began together at just three months old when they were adopted from a local pound. Unfortunately, due to a change in their owner’s circumstances, they were surrendered back to the pound. Thankfully, Sweet Pea Animal Rescue stepped in to ensure these siblings have a chance at finding the loving home they deserve. They’ve overcome challenges together, and their resilience is a testament to their strong bond and unwavering spirits.

**Health**

Both Snow and Rocky are 5-year-old Cattle Dog mixes who have received extensive care to ensure they’re ready for their next chapter. They are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and have been treated for heartworm, ticks, fleas, and intestinal worms. Rocky has undergone successful surgery on both hind legs for cruciate ligament repairs, and both dogs are in good health but need to lose weight to reach their optimal fitness levels.
