Personality:

From the moment Holly arrived at Sweet Pea, her friendly and loving nature captured our hearts, and we knew she was very special. Holly has endeared herself to all our volunteers with her warm personality, and her playful friendship with Sandy, her kennel neighbour, is heartwarming to see. Together, they spend many happy hours exploring and playing in the yard, showcasing Holly's love for companionship and adventure. Holly is a beautiful, young, and playful medium-sized mixed-breed dog.

Ideal Home:

Holly would thrive in a loving home offering her plenty of playtime, exercise and companionship. She would do well in a variety of homes, including one where there is already a playful dog for canine companionship. Whether joining a family with a friendly, playful canine companion or becoming a cherished member of a single-dog household, Holly is adaptable and eager to fit right in. Her ideal home might be a young active home family who will include her in their outings to the beach or dog park; or an older active household happy to take her on outdoor adventures beyond the home. Being highly intelligent, quick to learn and still young, Holly would excel with ongoing training and enjoys mastering new skills—she’s already learning to walk beautifully on a lead and sit politely for her meals.

Story:

Holly's journey began when she was spotted wandering with another dog on Manning St, Taree, for several days. Fortunately, our wonderful rangers brought her to safety. Holly was not microchipped and while the other doggy was, the owner couldn’t be located, leaving them both without a home. Recognizing her enormous potential as a loving companion, we made room for her at Sweet Pea, and she has been wooing us all ever since.

Health:

Holly is in excellent health with no underlying conditions. She has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for heartworm, fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms—ready to join her new family with a clean bill of health.
